Seemingly solid things are a collection of energies vibrating in synergy, creating a cohesive vision. To express visually that which we all know intrinsically, Glenn tries to capture this synergy in his work. He transforms raw industrial materials of steel and copper wire into fluid and visceral forms, utilizing negative space to create shapes for the eye.
His study of trees illustrates not only the subject, but also a sense of movement in time. Not unlike the real thing, each tree is completely unique, grown from a seed of thought, fed by imagination, and crafted with patience.
