Welcome to The Whitethorn Gallery
The Whitethorn Gallery is in Clifden, Connemara’s capital, which nestles in the foothills of the Twelve Bens mountain range in Co. Galway.
Situated between two other lovely galleries on the sunny side of Main Street – Clifden’s own “Left Bank” – we are very much a mainstream gallery, showing works by some of the best contemporary artists that Ireland has to offer, together with a number of fine European artists. We also participate in a number of shows and exhibitions around the country annually.
The gallery is owned and directed by the award winning artist Anne Merrins.
